Dig Design is a Milwaukee-based brand identity and packaging consultancy. We build brands for organizations ready to compete at a higher level.
Maybe you’re a founder trying to get onto retail shelves. A nonprofit competing for serious institutional funding. An organization that’s grown into something your original identity can’t hold anymore.
You need a brand that does real work — one that earns trust before you’re in the room, signals that you belong in the category you’re competing in, and gives you something to grow into.
That’s exactly what Dig Design is built to deliver.
These are not separate services — they’re one discipline. Your identity needs to work on a business card and a billboard. Your packaging needs to sell on a shelf surrounded by brands with ten times your budget. Your visual strategy needs to carry your brand forward as you grow.
Client: Diverse Dining Market, branding, social media campaign.
Before founding Dig Design, Amy Decker trained at Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and spent nearly two decades working with Disney, Mattel, Nokia, Sony, Warner Bros., and Sega — the kind of work that teaches you to perform at scale, understand a client’s world deeply, and get it right the first time.
She came home to Milwaukee in 2005, built AIGA Wisconsin from zero to 500 members, and spent 11 years on faculty at UW–Milwaukee mentoring more than 1,500 emerging designers.
Since returning to Dig Design full-time, she has brought that same rigor to founders, startups, and nonprofits — organizations where the stakes are high and the budget has to work harder.

If you’re serious about your brand and ready to do the work, we’re the right partner.
Before a single mark is made, we need to understand your world — your competitors, your audience, the white space your brand can own. Discovery and strategy aren’t a preamble to the real work. They are the real work.
Every engagement starts with a conversation. Tell me about your brand — where it is, where you’re trying to take it, and what’s standing in the way.
